Regional Manager Position available in the Western Cape with a well-known Apparel retail brand. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a logical thinker and have excellent organisational skills. The Regional Managers will be responsible looking after five stores: Waterfront, Canal Walk, Access Park and Cavendish.
Candidate to have at least 7 years experience in the retail industry in a senior position, diploma or degree in Management, Business, Retail, Marketing or similar tertiary diploma or degree. Candidates must have a valid South African drivers license and reliable transport. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for acting as a shift Store Manager.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Manage, motivate, recruit and train all retail staff, so as to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Plan, forecast & report on financial and business performance.
- Plan and manage brand, advertising and promotional activities.
- Manage cash controls with staff and customer safety as a key priority.
- Manage stock levels, store appearance and customer service to maximise profitability.
- Plan and manage new shop locations, layouts and customer traffic flow to maximise sales, customer satisfaction and the image of the company.
- Manage costs and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the shop.
- Liaise with external agencies and authorities as necessary.
- Liaise with suppliers, merchandisers and other partners as required.
- Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment and fixtures of shop premises.
- Manage health, safety, security and emergency systems including staff capabilities.
- Maintain and develop market and competitor information, pricing and tactics.
- Manage and maintain effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems.
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements
- Must have Matric with a relevant tertiary education
- At least 7 years experience in a similar role within a retail industry
- Valid driver''s license with your own car
